Xiangyang Liuji Airport guide
Updated 2026-10-19Xiangyang Liuji Airport opened on 14 December 1989 after the State Council and Central Military Commission approved it in January 1986. It was the first newly built civil airport in China funded with local money, raised by the Xiangfan municipal government. It sits in the northeast corner of Xiangyang in Hubei province, about 18 km from the city centre.
