Dongying Shengli Airport guide

Dongying Shengli Airport serves the city of Dongying on the Yellow River delta in northern Shandong province. It stands in Yong'an Town, north-east of the urban area. Construction began in May 1984 and the first phase was finished in October 1985. The airport was first called Dongying Yong'an Airport and took its present name from the Shengli Oilfield, the large oil-producing area around the city. Flights resumed under the new name on 28 February 2011.

The airport handled about 1.3 million passengers and 41,675 aircraft movements in 2025, along with roughly 1,316 tonnes of cargo. A single concrete runway, 18/36, is 3,600 metres long and entered service on 1 February 2018. The airport is run by Dongying Shengli Airport Management Co.

The network is domestic. Air China, China Eastern, Hainan Airlines, Shandong Airlines and Spring Airlines fly to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an and other cities. Spring Airlines offers the widest choice of routes. One passenger terminal of about 25,000 square metres handles all flights.
