Ceduna Airport sits beside the Eyre Highway on the western Eyre Peninsula, about 2 km east of the town centre. It is the westernmost airport in South Australia with regular passenger service, and the District Council of Ceduna has owned it since 1991.

The airfield dates to 1928, when the Civil Aviation Branch established it. The first flight landed in May 1929 and regular services began that June. Today Rex runs the scheduled service to Adelaide. Charter flights, including Pel-Air services to the Jacinth-Ambrosia mine, also use the airport.

The main runway, 11/29, is sealed and 1,740 m long, with pilot-activated lighting for night operations. It takes aircraft up to the size of a Boeing 737 with some restrictions. The second runway, 17/35, is gravel and 1,014 m long, and suits only aircraft under 5,700 kg. The airport also supports general aviation, the Royal Flying Doctor Service, aerial firefighting and occasional military flights. A small terminal and apron are on the northeastern side of the field, with direct access from the highway.
