Cobar Regional Airport sits about 5 kilometres south-west of the centre of Cobar, in the central west of New South Wales. It carries the IATA code CAZ and the ICAO code YCBA. The airport has operated since the mid-1960s, and the first aircraft to land in Cobar arrived in 1924 at Dalton Park, now the racecourse.

FlyPelican flies direct between Cobar and Sydney, with six return flights a week and a flight time of about 90 minutes. The airport also supports the local mining industry, NSW Health services and general aviation. Avgas and Jet A1 are available on site from Skyfuel, with after-hours refuelling by phone, and Council leases land for hangars.

Cobar Shire Council owns, operates and maintains the airport. It has two runways: a main sealed strip about 1,520 metres long and 30 metres wide, and a cross strip about 900 metres long. A pavement rebuild for larger aircraft and a new CASA-compliant lighting system were funded through the Restart NSW Resources for Regions program. The airport is an approved non-precision, GPS-assisted aerodrome. Parking at the airport is free, and taxis serve it.
