Sola Airport guide

Sola Airport, also called Vanua Lava Airport, serves Vanua Lava in the Banks Islands of Torba Province, Vanuatu. The ICAO code is NVSC. The field sits about 2 m above sea level on the east side of the island, beside Port Patteson.

The airport has one runway, 700 m long. Air Vanuatu operates the scheduled service, linking Vanua Lava with Luganville on Espiritu Santo. A Torba Province government page lists flights three times a week, so confirm the current schedule before booking.

Sola is the capital village of Torba Province, and the airport is the main air link for the provincial administration and the Banks Islands. Facilities are basic.
