Lien Khuong Airport guide

Lien Khuong Airport is the main air gateway to Da Lat and Lam Dong province in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. It lies in Duc Trong, about 30 km south of Da Lat, and is also known as Da Lat Airport. French colonists first built a field here in 1933, with a 700 m soil runway.

The airport handles domestic flights. Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air, Bamboo Airways, Pacific Airlines and VASCO have served it, linking Da Lat with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and other Vietnamese cities. Traffic grew from about 676,000 passengers in 2014 to nearly 3 million in 2022, above the terminal's design capacity of 2.5 million.

The single runway, 09/27, is asphalt and 3,250 m long. The passenger terminal opened on 26 December 2009 and has two floors and 12,400 square metres of floor space. Operations were suspended on 4 March 2026 for a runway and taxiway upgrade and resumed on 19 August 2026. Provincial authorities have asked the operator to build a second terminal to handle growing demand.
