Meacham International Airport is a city-owned general aviation airport about 5 miles north of downtown Fort Worth, near the junction of Interstate 820 and Business U.S. 287. It has no scheduled passenger airline service. Visitors arrive by private, charter and corporate aircraft.

The field began as an Army training ground in 1914. The City of Fort Worth bought it in 1925 and called it Fort Worth Municipal Airport. It took the name Meacham Field in 1927, after former mayor Henry C. Meacham, and became Fort Worth Meacham International Airport in 1995. Scheduled airlines left for Amon Carter Field in 1953, and later passenger services here lasted only a short time. The last was Mesa Airlines in 1997 and 1998.

Runway 16/34 is 7,502 feet long and concrete, with an instrument landing system at both ends. Runway 17/35 is 4,005 feet long. A control tower operates on the field, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection is available on site. Fixed-base operators Texas Jet and Modern Aviation handle fuel and ground services. The rebuilt terminal building reopened in January 2017 and also houses Fort Worth city departments.
