Bradford Regional Airport sits at an elevation of 2,143 feet in Lafayette Township, McKean County, in the Allegheny Plateau of northern Pennsylvania. The mailing address is Lewis Run, and the field lies about 11 miles south of the city of Bradford. It serves the Pennsylvania and New York border region, including the Olean, New York area.

The city of Bradford began buying the land in October 1941, and the airport opened in September 1948. It replaced Harri Emery Field, an earlier local airfield with a single turf runway. United Airlines flew the first scheduled service with Douglas DC-3 aircraft in 1948.

Scheduled flights today operate under the federal Essential Air Service program, which subsidizes air service to small communities. Southern Airways Express flies two daily departures each to Pittsburgh International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport. Washington Dulles and Pittsburgh were the top two destinations in 2025. The FAA classes the airport as a non-primary commercial service airport, with between 2,500 and 10,000 enplanements a year.

The airport also handles general aviation. The on-site fixed base operator sells 100LL and Jet A fuel and offers hangar space, a pilot lounge and ground power. About 2,987 aircraft operations were recorded in the year ending January 31, 2019, roughly eight a day, and 15 single-engine aircraft were based on the field in April 2022. A National Guard armory also stands on the property.
