Grand Forks International Airport sits about five miles northwest of downtown Grand Forks, North Dakota, on U.S. Highway 2, roughly four miles west of Interstate 29. The Grand Forks Regional Airport Authority, a public body set up by Grand Forks County and the City of Grand Forks, owns and runs it.

Scheduled service is limited to two carriers. Delta Connection, operated by SkyWest, flies to Minneapolis/St. Paul. Allegiant flies seasonal routes to Las Vegas, Phoenix/Mesa and Orlando/Sanford, and its schedule has changed from season to season. The terminal is a two-story building with a TSA checkpoint, an inline baggage screening system, rental car counters and two gates. A restaurant and bar and a North Dakota gift shop operate inside.

The University of North Dakota's John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences is the largest tenant. It flies about 120 training aircraft from 11 heated hangars, and its flights make up most of the airport's aircraft operations. The airport has four runways. The longest, 17R/35L, is 7,351 feet of asphalt and was built in 1963. A multi-phase airfield reconstruction program is under way, with its first phase planned for completion by October 2026.
