Joint Base Andrews is a United States Air Force installation in Prince George's County, Maryland, located about 24 km southeast of downtown Washington, D.C. Established in 1942 as Camp Springs Army Air Field, it was redesignated Andrews Air Force Base in 1948 and became Joint Base Andrews in 2009 following a merger with Naval Air Facility Washington.

The base is home to the 89th Airlift Wing, which operates Air Force One — the Boeing VC-25A aircraft that serves as presidential transport — along with a fleet of C-32, C-40, and C-37 aircraft used for senior government airlift. The 316th Wing serves as the host unit. The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Passenger Terminal on base offers Space-Available (Space-A) flights for eligible military personnel and their families to destinations including Dover AFB, JB Charleston, and Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

Access to the base is restricted to authorized military personnel, DoD civilians, and their dependents. The base does not serve commercial passengers. Two concrete runways handle a mix of military airlift, executive transport, and training operations.
