Antalya International Airport Guide
Antalya Airport is located 13 km northeast of Antalya city centre on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. It is the third-busiest airport in Turkey and handled approximately 39 million passengers in 2025. The airport operates year-round but sees the heaviest traffic during the European summer leisure season, when it serves as a primary gateway for package holiday travellers from across Europe.
The airport is operated by Fraport TAV Antalya Airport Terminal A.S., a joint venture between Fraport and TAV Airports, under a concession from the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ). It has three active runways and a total annual capacity of 82 million passengers. Over 100 airlines fly to more than 300 destinations worldwide, with the bulk of routes connecting to European and Russian leisure markets.
A tramway extension links the airport to the Antalya urban transit network, providing a rail connection to the city centre. Havaş shuttle buses and city bus routes 600 and 800 also serve the airport. In April 2025, the domestic terminal underwent a major expansion, doubling its floor area to 75,000 square metres.
