King Mswati III International Airport is Eswatini's only international commercial airport, located in Sikhuphe in the Lubombo region, approximately 50 km east of Manzini. It opened for commercial operations in September 2014, replacing Matsapha Airport. Construction cost around $150 million, with $22 million contributed by Taiwan.
The airport has a single terminal building covering 6,500 m² with capacity for 300 peak-hour passengers and a designed annual capacity of 360,000 passengers. Its 3,580-metre runway is rated for Code E aircraft including the Boeing 747 and Airbus A340. A cargo terminal handles mail, perishables, and hazardous goods.
Airlink operates regular scheduled flights to Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport, with Eswatini Air also serving routes to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Harare. The airport is operated by the Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority and sits near Hlane Royal National Park.
