Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport sits 18 km west of central Belgrade near the suburb of Surčin. It is Serbia's only international hub and the country's busiest airport, serving 8.4 million passengers in 2024. Air Serbia operates it as its primary base, while Wizz Air also maintains a significant presence with multiple stationed aircraft.

The airport has two connected terminals covering a combined 93,651 square metres. Terminal 1 handles low-cost and charter international traffic. Terminal 2, the larger facility built in 1979, accommodates Air Serbia and full-service carriers across both international and domestic routes. The airport has 32 gates, 24 of which have jet bridges.

Vinci Airports took over operations in December 2018 under a 25-year concession from the Government of Serbia. Passenger numbers have grown by more than 40% since that handover, and an ongoing terminal expansion programme is adding further gates and stands to meet continued demand.
