Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport shuttles guide

Madeira Airport Transfers has run door-to-door transport at Funchal Airport since 2007, offering both private taxis and minibuses and a shared Madeira Airport Shuttle service. Drivers meet arriving passengers in the arrivals hall holding name cards and carry them to accommodation across the island. English- and Portuguese-speaking chauffeurs provide free baby seats and do not add surcharges for delayed flights.

Transportes do Serrado, trading as Madeira Transfers, has provided island transport from its base in Santana since the founder's original taxi license in 1987, formalised as a company in 1993. The family-run operator monitors each incoming flight and meets passengers at Funchal Airport for a direct transfer to hotels, guesthouses and hiking trailheads anywhere on the island, in a modern, multilingual, fully insured fleet.

Madeiralimo is a Portuguese Tourism Board-registered agency (RNAVT 4009) offering private transfers between Funchal Airport and hotels across Madeira, alongside chauffeured limousine, business-class van and taxi services. A driver meets each arriving passenger in the arrivals lounge for direct transport to five- and four-star hotels in Funchal, Caniço, Santa Cruz and Santo da Serra, and to cruise-port pickups.
