Kiunga Airport (ICAO AYKI) serves Kiunga, the river port on the upper Fly River in Western Province, Papua New Guinea. The airfield lies about 5 km east of the town and sits at an elevation of 27 metres. It is the main air link for the Kiunga area, which has no road connection to the rest of the country.

The airport has a single runway, 04/22, which is 1,200 metres long and 30 metres wide. Air Niugini and PNG Air list scheduled flights to Port Moresby, and PNG Air also connects Kiunga with Tabubil, Mount Hagen, Suki and Lake Murray.

The National Airports Corporation is upgrading the airport under the Civil Aviation Development Investment Programme II. The works strengthen and widen the runway, apron and taxiway, and add aircraft parking pads, helipads and a new access road. During the later runway stages the usable length drops to 490 metres, and Dash 8 scheduled flights are suspended while smaller general aviation aircraft keep operating. Check the current schedule with the airlines before travelling.
