🚌 Shuttle Services near Düsseldorf Airport

The SkyTrain is the airport's automated people-mover connecting the long-distance Fernbahnhof (Düsseldorf Flughafen Bahnhof) with the passenger terminals and adjacent parking garages. The service runs frequently (approx. every 5–7 minutes during operating hours) and completes the journey in about seven minutes, providing step-free, direct transfers between rail and terminal.

Weekend early-morning shuttle buses operate between the Fernbahnhof and the terminal to serve passengers with very early check-in/flight departures. According to the airport, these shuttle buses run on Saturdays and Sundays between approx. 02:20 and 03:45 (service period noted on the airport site through 12.10.2025).

Long-distance FlixBus coach line N79 calls directly at the airport's Haltestelle 14 on the arrivals level, providing direct connections that link Dortmund with international destinations including Liège, Brussels and Paris while serving the terminal-level stop at DUS.

FlixBus line 068 serves Haltestelle 14 at the airport (arrival level), linking Bayreuth and intermediate stops with Amsterdam and offering direct coach access to/from the terminal.

FlixBus line N116 connects Tübingen with Amsterdam and calls at Haltestelle 14 directly at the terminal; intermediate stops listed by the airport include Venlo, Eindhoven, Rotterdam and The Hague, providing an inter-regional coach link to DUS.

Multiple regional and local bus lines serve the airport: a central bus station in front of the arrivals level (serving lines such as 721, 760, SB51 and 896 on selected days) and a bus stop at the Fernbahnhof (serving lines such as 729, 759, 776 and SB51).
