Ouani Airport guide

Ouani Airport (ICAO: FMCV) is the only airport on Anjouan, the island of Comoros also called Ndzuwani. It sits on the north coast at Ouani, at an elevation of 19 metres, and is supervised by the state company Aéroports des Comores.

The single asphalt runway, designated 10/28, is 1,350 metres long and runs along the sea. It suits turboprops and light aircraft, and the surface needs rehabilitation. Four to five domestic flights a day link Anjouan with Grande Comore and Mohéli on Embraer 120 and Saab 340 aircraft. Ewa Air and AB Aviation fly daily to Mayotte with ATR 72 aircraft, depending on the day.

Around 25,000 passengers used the airport in 2018. The airport is a short drive from Mutsamudu, the island's capital.
