Turin Airport guide
Updated 2026-08-28Turin Airport occupies a site in Caselle Torinese, in Italy's Piedmont region. It opened in 1953 on the site of a former World War II airfield. The terminal was rebuilt for the 1990 FIFA World Cup and enlarged again ahead of the 2006 Winter Olympics, which Turin hosted. The airport carries the honorary name Sandro Pertini Airport, after the Italian president who served from 1978 to 1985.
