Cap-Haïtien International Airport is the main gateway to northern Haiti and the second largest airport in the country after Port-au-Prince. It sits on the flat coastal plain just south of Cap-Haïtien, close enough that the drive into the city is short. Travellers also use it to reach the Citadelle Laferrière and Sans-Souci Palace near Milot, and the cruise destination of Labadee.
