Aktion National Airport guide

Aktion National Airport (ICAO: LGPZ), also called Preveza Airport, serves Epirus and the Ionian island of Lefkada in north-western Greece. It sits on the southern shore of the Ambracian Gulf entrance, close to the town of Preveza, and opened in 1968. Fraport Greece, a joint venture of Fraport AG and Copelouzos Group, has operated it since the 2016 privatisation of 14 regional Greek airports.

A single asphalt runway, 06/24, is 2,871 m long. Traffic is overwhelmingly international and seasonal. In 2025 the airport handled 875,962 passengers, of whom 862,698 were on international flights and only 13,264 on domestic ones, across 7,013 flights. That was 6.2 percent more than in 2024.

Ryanair, easyJet, Jet2.com, Condor, Eurowings, Norwegian and Sky Express fly here, mostly in summer, linking the area with London, Frankfurt, Vienna, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and other European cities.
