St Mary's Airport lies about 2 kilometres east of Hugh Town on St Mary's, the largest of the Isles of Scilly, 116 feet above sea level. It is the only fixed-wing airport in the islands. The Duchy of Cornwall owns the site and the Council of the Isles of Scilly operates it.

Flights began from the island's golf course in 1937, and the present airfield opened in 1939 on the former High Cross Farm. A new terminal opened in 1975. The airport recorded 68,086 passengers and 9,082 aircraft movements in 2024.

Isles of Scilly Skybus flies the main scheduled routes, to Land's End and Newquay and seasonally to Exeter. Starspeed flies to Penzance. A public footpath crosses near the southern end of the runway, and warning lights and bells close it before each take-off and landing.
