Rotuma Airport guide

Rotuma Airport (IATA RTA, ICAO NFNR) serves Rotuma, a Fijian dependency about 650 km north of the main islands. It sits near Else'e, a village in the Malhaha district, on the island's northeast side. Airports Fiji Limited operates it.

The airport has one asphalt runway, 07/25, about 1,494 m long. An upgrade that opened in 2018 sealed the surface. That allowed Fiji Link to replace the smaller de Havilland Twin Otter with ATR 72-600 aircraft on the Nadi service.

Flights are the main way to reach Rotuma, and services are infrequent. Fiji Link flies to Nadi and Suva, and Northern Air flies to Suva. Schedules change, so confirm them with the airline before travelling.
