Kebri Dahar Airport guide

Kebri Dahar Airport serves the town of Kebri Dahar, the administrative centre of the Korahe Zone in the Somali Region of eastern Ethiopia. It carries the ICAO code HAKD and is also listed as Kabri Dar Airport and Qabridahare Airport.

The airport sits at an elevation of 549 metres above sea level. Its single concrete runway is 2,500 metres long and 46 metres wide, long enough for turboprop and regional jet operations. The Ethiopian Airports Enterprise operates the airfield as part of the national network of regional airports.

The town lies in a dry lowland setting with warm temperatures through the year and rainfall concentrated in April, May and October. Roads link Kebri Dahar to Gode and to other towns of the region, and the airport gives an air connection across distances that are slow by road. Ethiopian Airlines has served the airport on a route to Jijiga, but that service has been suspended since January 2026. Check current schedules with the airline before planning a trip.
