Larnaca International Airport guide
Updated 2026-10-08Larnaca International Airport is the main international gateway to Cyprus, located 4 km south of Larnaca city. It replaced Nicosia International Airport, which closed following the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974, and opened for commercial operations in February 1975. In July 2016, it was formally named in honour of former President Glafcos Clerides.
