Curaçao International Airport sits on the island's north coast, the only airport serving the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao. It first received scheduled service in December 1934, when a KLM Snip aircraft touched down at what was then known as Hato Airport. The airport was formerly named Dr. Albert Plesman International Airport and later Hato International Airport before adopting its current name.

A single runway, 3,410 metres long, handles everything from regional turboprops to widebody jets; its length makes it the third-longest commercial runway in the Caribbean and allows it to accept aircraft as large as the Boeing 747-8 and Antonov An-124. Curaçao Airport Partners, a consortium including Zürich Airport, operates the facility on behalf of owner Curaçao Airport Holding.

Traffic has grown sharply since the pandemic low of 2020. The airport crossed 2 million annual passengers for the first time in December 2024 and closed 2025 with 2.46 million passenger movements, a record and close to the terminal's 2.5 million design capacity. Roughly a third of passengers arrive from Europe, mostly the Netherlands, with the United States and South America each supplying about a fifth of traffic.
