Sachigo Lake Airport guide

Sachigo Lake Airport (ICAO CZPB) serves Sachigo Lake First Nation, a fly-in Oji-Cree community in the Kenora District of northwestern Ontario, about 425 km north of Sioux Lookout. The airfield lies 2.8 km north of the community at an elevation of 876 ft.

The airport has a single gravel runway, 10/28, 1,069 m (3,507 ft) long. The Government of Ontario, through the Ministry of Transportation, operates it. No passenger statistics are published.

The community has no all-season road. A winter road runs south through Muskrat Dam Lake First Nation to the Northern Ontario Resource Trail, so the airstrip carries passengers, mail and freight for most of the year. Bearskin Airlines, North Star Air and Perimeter Aviation fly to Sioux Lookout, with connections to Thunder Bay and Winnipeg. Schedules change by season, so confirm flight times with the airline before travelling.
