Chub Cay Airport guide

Chub Cay Airport, also listed as Chub Cay International Airport, serves Chub Cay at the southern end of the Berry Islands in The Bahamas. Its ICAO code is MYBC. The airfield sits at an elevation of about 1.5 metres and is a port of entry, so international arrivals clear customs and immigration on the island.

The airport has one paved runway, 11/29, about 1,520 metres long. It takes turboprops and business jets up to the size of a Global Express. Paved parking and the customs and immigration building are on the north side of the runway, with unpaved parking on the south side of the 11 end. The marina and clubhouse are a few minutes from the apron, and the resort front desk arranges complimentary apron transport.

Service is mainly charter and private. Makers Air and Aztec Airways fly from Fort Lauderdale, and short hops run to Nassau most days. Nassau is about 60 kilometres to the southeast across open water.
