Brunei International Airport is the only international airport in Brunei Darussalam, located in the Berakas area of the Brunei-Muara District on the island of Borneo. It opened in 1974 and serves as the hub for Royal Brunei Airlines. The single runway measures 3,685 metres, one of the longest in the region at the time of its construction. The airport handled 1.46 million passengers in 2024 and has capacity for up to 3 million annually.

The international terminal offers 40 check-in counters and processes both departing and transit passengers. Airlines connect Brunei to destinations across Southeast Asia, East Asia, Australia, and London. Royal Brunei Airlines operates multiple daily flights to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, with long-haul service to London Heathrow.

The airport is operated by the Department of Civil Aviation under Brunei's Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications. In addition to the passenger terminal, the airport includes a dedicated cargo facility capable of handling 50,000 tonnes annually, and a separate royal terminal used by the Sultan of Brunei.
