Burketown Airport (ICAO YBKT) is a small public airport on the edge of Burketown, a Gulf of Carpentaria town in north-west Queensland. It sits about 2 km south-west of the town, at an elevation of 6 metres. The airport also appears as Burketown Aerodrome on the council's own pages.

Burke Shire Council owns and runs it. The airport has two runways: 03/21, an asphalt strip of 1,372 m, and 14/32, a 757 m strip of black silt clay. The site mainly serves emergency services, Rex flights, light aircraft and helicopters. Rex is the only scheduled passenger operator. Aeromedical and freight flights also use the airport, and AvGas is available.

Floods in 2023 cut the town off and affected the airfield, so supplies were flown in by helicopter. The main runway was rebuilt as a flood-resilient strip by Durack Civil with Burke Shire Council. Rex suspended Burketown services on 9 April 2026 while the airfield was closed, and Rex flights ran from Doomadgee Airport, with council-arranged transfers to and from Burketown. Since 11 June 2026 aircraft have used an interim cross strip with a temporary access road and gate. The council lists the aerodrome as closed until October 2026, and a reopening event is planned for 10 October 2026. Check with Rex or the council before travelling.
